Shoe Description

The adidas Yeezys 500 High Slate is the first iteration of the high-top version of Kanye West's popular lifestyle creation. Several key elements of the original Yeezys 500 low trainers have been modified in the high-top silhouette, including the addition of a puffy neoprene base that replaces the mesh previously used. Dark slate grey suede overlays cover the entire upper, with the material most visible on the toe, mudguard, and heel. Premium leather overlays are found on the toe and ankle, with tonal rope laces on the neoprene tongue. The Feet You Wear sole unit is taken from Kobe Bryant's third signature shoe, and this modification of the high-top makes the Yeezys 500 model look more like a basketball shoe. The adidas Yeezys 500 High Slate is scheduled to release on December 14, 2019.
